"Refund You" refers to Refund You Pty Ltd and its representatives."Client", "you", "your" refers to the user of our services."Services" refers to the identification, verification, and recovery of unclaimed money or lost funds on your behalf.

2. Scope of Services

Refund You offers professional services to help individuals and businesses locate and recover unclaimed money, missing superannuation, dormant accounts, and surplus funds in Australia.

We operate on a success-based fee model — meaning you only pay a fee upon successful recovery of funds.

3. No Upfront Fees

There are no upfront costs for our services. Our fees are only payable upon the successful recovery of funds. This will be clearly stated in our Client Authority Agreement and/or Authority To Release documents, which you must sign before we act on your behalf.

4. Client Obligations

By using our services, you agree to:

Provide accurate and truthful personal informationAuthorise Refund You to act on your behalf in relation to claimsCooperate in providing any supporting documents requiredNotify us of any changes to your contact informationNot engage a third party for the same recovery without terminating our agreement first

5. Our Obligations

We will:

Use reasonable efforts and skill to recover your unclaimed fundsKeep your personal information confidential in accordance with our Privacy PolicyContact you promptly regarding claim progress or required documentsOnly charge a fee upon successful recovery

6. Fees & Payment

Our standard success fee will be disclosed before recovery commences and is typically deducted from the recovered funds. All fees will be outlined in the written agreement.

If your funds are received directly by you, you agree to pay our fee within 7 business days of receipt.

7. No Guarantees

While we take all reasonable steps to locate and recover funds, we do not guarantee success, eligibility, or timeframes for completion. Refund You is not responsible for outcomes controlled by government agencies, public trustees, or third-party custodians.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Refund You shall not be liable for:

Delays in processing from third partiesIncorrect information supplied by the clientTechnical issues outside our controlAny indirect, incidental, or consequential loss

Our total liability is limited to the amount of fees paid by you for our services.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the engagement at any time in writing. If work has commenced and funds have already been recovered or are in the process of recovery, the agreed fee may still apply.

10. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, and materials are owned by Refund You or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the site without our written permission.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales Australia.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective upon posting on this page. Your continued use of our site or services indicates acceptance of any updated Terms.
